Pawel Felisiak Kyoshi
Paweł Felisiak Kyoshi has been a full-time Aikido instructor since 2001 and has been teaching since 1997.
His Aikido training started in 1996 under Tad Stratton Sensei (9th dan SIAI) under whom he tested for 1st Dan in 1998. After the death of Sensei Stratton in 2000, Ken Robson Shihan became the direct teacher of Pawel Felisiak Kyoshi.
In July 2005, Pawel Kyoshi was tested for 4th Dan by Sensei Ken Robson and Sensei John Russell. At the time, it was the first test for such a high rank in this organization, Shudokan Institute of Aikido International.
Pawel Kyoshi went to England several dozen times to develop his Aikido and Ken Robson Shihan undoubtedly had a huge impact on his Budo. He also took many trips abroad for seminars and trainings, among others to France, the Czech Republic, Malaysia and twice to Australia. A memorable trip to Australia occurred in 2006, where after two months of intensive live-in training in Melbourne with Joe Thambu Shuseki Shihan, Pawel Kyoshi received a 3rd Dan in Yoshinkan Aikido. To this day, Joe Thambu Shihan is his direct teacher. In 2010, on May 14, Pawel Kyoshi was graded to 4th Dan by Joe Thambu Shuseki Shihan. This was the first such high degree of Yoshinkan Aikido in Poland. On 10th February 2014, during another intensive stay in Melbourne, Pawel Kyoshi was tested for 5th Dan by Joe Thambu Shuseki Shihan and Jon Marshall Shihan, 6th Dan.
Paweł Felisiak Kyoshi is the main instructor at Aikido Shudokan dojo in Gliwice. For a dozen years of his aikido training he had the opportunity to train under many excellent teachers such as: Inoue Kyoichi Hanshi, Chida Tsutomu Shihan, Tsuneo Ando Shihan, Shioda Yasuhisa Kancho, Robert Mustard Shihan, Thamby Rajah Sensei, Soke Obata Toshishiro, Jon Marshall Sensei and Paul Stevens Sensei.
After over 20 years in Budo, Paweł Felisiak Kyoshi still has a great passion for aikido and teaching. Over the last dozen or so years more than thirty people have attained a black belt in his dojo.
